Safety is Our Top Priority
Manufacturers, employers and workers all take health and safety issues very seriously, and for the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local No. 2 in St. Louis, roofing safety is our top priority. We’re committed to the health and safety of our members, and are proud of our history of proper training and instruction, which has helped us to cultivate and maintain an excellent safety record. In order to protect lives, the roofing safety reputation of our union, and that of St. Louis, roofing safety will remain of the utmost importance for we have roofers in our care.

All Local No. 2 Union Roofers are instructed on the topics of fall protection, material handling, product safety, CPR training, asbestos protection and other items relating the welfare of the worker in our Safety and Health Program. Our management team strictly adheres to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and guidelines, as well as to the roofing safety policies established by the International Roofing and Waterproofing Union. The International Union also has a Safety and Health Program that continually monitors the working conditions of members and makes recommendations for change when necessary, which the Local No. 2 then implements.
